FAQ
What is this game? Revenge of the DDD is a game where your character now has access to the internet. The real life internet. Which means, you can access things about your world, your future plots, troll people on the internet, look up [censored] stuff, and play video games you wouldn't have. You can also, with permission, talk to people, derail their canon and such.
Who can we play? Nearly anyone! OCs, AUs, Fan AUs, Crossover AUs, CRAUs, Veterans of DDD, Canon Characters and others are welcome in the game. There is no character limit but remember your limits. There's a soft cap of 4 of the same character, excluding official and AU versions of one another.
How do we play? Well, first, write a small profile in your journal and link it. We'll add you to the taken list, and from there, just join the communities and start posting! Remember to be respectful to one another, don't godmod, don't be a dick, and just have fun. We're going back to a kinder, simpler world.
What's Up with this Internet thing? We have the internet and it is glorious. From here, you can access almost anything you want. You can't hack the internet, and it won't go away until you've interacted with some people first. From here, the skys the limit. DDD veterans can show your friends around.
What are Viruses? Viruses are events, held bi weekly. A short crack event for the week and completely optional! However, there's also the FESTIVALS which are held during major holidays which is one big party for people to get to. There'll be a post in the OOC for that.
Help I don't think my character knows about the internet! That's okay! The Duck has appeared on many things, from ipods to cell phones, to even oily rags. Don't worry if you have no computer. It'll be there.
What is Canon Derailing? Canon Derailing means you've accessed your canon or just want to change it. Get some friends, change your canon, have a big fight if you're planning on it, the skys the limit!
What about... adult things? There is now a Tag called !Protocol: Ducks After Dark. Use it and mark it as needed and use content warnings as needed for whatever reason you might need to warn for. We're not your mom, as long as both parties are consenting to the RP it's fine. Just remember some characters are underage and should be treated as such.
What about... Politics? Fictional ones are fine, but let's keep the Annoying Orange to a cut and a private to the comms okay? Not everyone is comfortable with that.
